Day 143 - Boring… Tedious
September 28, 2009 – 8:25 amAnd so we wait. Last night the wind switched from the east to the north and the waves are still coming from both so we’re pretty much pinned down. We’re waiting for a cold front to pass us which should mean we stay on the sea anchor for another 18 hours or so and then we’re on our way but it is becomming tedious. Sitting on the sea anchor waiting for the weather to change is the worst thing to be doing…well except sitting on the sea anchor in 50 kts of wind waiting for the weather to change.
Strangly sleeping in the cabin has become almost easy for the two of us. We’re certainly smaller than when we started this adventure although there is still a race to fall asleep as when you’re second to fall asleep you have to cope with the other man snooring, taking more than half the cabin up and generally rolling around a lot more. Still with an efficient use of elbows, fists and knees the offending dormant man can usually be forced back onto their side again.

Egypt!an - No need to worry…Biff is OK, but probably nursing some sore legs, having also completed the above.

am not surprised that using your ‘elbow’ makes mick roll as far away from you as possible.

Good point Marge - you’ve not been at sea that long you two.

Mick’s been boring since we’ve known him. So what’s it like being bored with a usually boring person who has themself becoming bored and more boring?
