And They’re Off!

May 8, 2009 – 11:06 am

Just a quick note from Chris via a very crackly satellite phone: They set off today at 2:30pm Local time (6:30am UK time) after a short delay this morning due to the weather .  Everything is going fine so far, and he’ll be sending his first post from the ocean soon.

  3. Hi Chris and Mick - Best of luck. I wish you bon voyage. Have a great and safe trip. Although I have to say that I think it’s a bit of an extreme way of trying to avoid a swine flu pandemic!

  11. Hi, Mick & Chris

You are to off to Kuroshio Mainstream(Water-temperature 20-19),just because you are heading to North. You should maintain the Sraight line from Choshi to the East & never to be in a position of the Northern area than N.36 for the time-being.

Go for it chief - try not to crack into the Banks novels till you are fully acclimatized, they aren’t half a bit boggling.

All best wishes to you an Mick - bring it home.
